1E-11 Engine Lubrication System:
Pass the oil hoses between the transfer cable and
front brake pipe.
Apply thread lock to the oil cooler hose bolts (engine
side) (1) and tighten them to the specified torque.
Clamp the oil hose (inlet) and speedometer cable.
: Thread lock cement 99000–32130
(THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER 1360 or
equivalent)
Tightening torque
Oil cooler hose bolt (engine side) (a): 10 N·m (1.0
kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
Install the oil cooler.
Tighten the oil cooler hose bolts (oil cooler side) (2) to
the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Oil cooler hose bolt (oil cooler side) (b): 10 N·m (
1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
Pour engine oil. Refer to “Engine Oil and Filter
Replacement in Section 0B (Page 0B-7)”.
Oil Cooler Cleaning

Clean the oil cooler in the following procedures:
1) Remove the oil cooler. Refer to “Oil Cooler / Oil
Cooler Hose Removal and Installation (Page 1E-
10)”.
2) Blow out any foreign matter that is stuck in the oil
cooler fins using compressed air.
CAUTION
!
Make sure not to bend the fins when using
compressed air.
If compressed air is applied from the front
side, dirt will bi forced into the pores of oil
cooler.
