• Fit the special tool and install the 2nd drive gear using
a hydraulic press.
Special tool
(A): 09913–70210 (Bearing installer set)
• When Installing the bushings, align the shaft hole with
the bushing hole.

Disassembly
Disassemble the reverse gearshift cam assembly as
shown in the figure.
Assembly
When assembling the reverse gearshift cam, pay
attention to the following points:
CAUTION
!
• Never reuse a snap ring. After a snap ring
has been removed from a shaft, it should
be discarded and a new snap ring must be
installed.
• When installing a snap ring, care must be
taken not to expand the end gap larger
than required to slip the snap ring over the
shaft.
• After installing a snap ring, always ensure
that it is completely seated in its groove
and securely fitted.
• Align the punch mark “A” with “B” on the shaft.
