Removing
– Remove toothed belt from camshaft and high-pressure
pump; Removing, installing and tensioning toothed belt.
– Remove camshaft toothed belt pulley and hub ⇒ Page 233,
Removing and installing camshaft.
– Insert thrust piece -3240/1- into camshaft.
– Unscrew inner part of oil seal extractor -3240- 2 turns (ap-
prox. 3 mm) from outer part, and lock it in place using
knurled screw.
