◆ If you do not have the specialist skills required for the work
described in this manual, we strongly recommend that you
have the work performed exclusively in a qualified workshop.
This recommendation also applies in cases where individu-
als and workshops are not equipped with the necessary
tools and equipment.
◆ Incorrect parts or improperly performed repair work and set-
tings can cause serious damage to the vehicle/machine and
its systems. They can also bring about expensive repair
measures to rectify the damage, and the warranty cover
could be impaired as a result.

4.1 Entries in service history book
If a component is changed which has a change interval prescri-
bed by the manufacturer, e.g. the toothed belt, the new change
interval starts after the component has been changed.
