2 Checking charge air system

Note
â—† The components of the charge air system are not always in
the scope of supply from Volkswagen. Adhere to the manu-
facturing specifications when performing any maintenance
and repair work.
â—† All hose connections are secured.
â—† Charge air system must be free of leaks.
â—† When making repairs, remove oil from connection and hose
ends.
â—† All hoses of the charge air system are secured with spring-
type clips or with plug-in connectors.
â—† Spring-type clip pliers -VAS 5024- are recommended for in-
stallation of spring-type clips.
