FLN protocol technical data
Overview
The FLN fieldbus connection to the ACS320 drives is based on an industry standard
RS-485 physical interface. The FLN (Floor Level Network) fieldbus protocol is a serial
communication protocol, used by the Siemens APOGEE® system. The ACS320
interface is specified in Siemens application xxxx.
Supported features
The ACS320 supports all required FLN features.
Reports
The ACS320 provides seven pre-defined reports. Using a report request generated
from the FLN fieldbus controller, select one of the following sets of points. By
providing views of selected points, these reports are often easier to work with than
views of the full point database.
