9.5 FLEXCURVES 9.5.1 DESCRIPTION
Two user programmable FlexCurvesâ„¢ can be stored in the relay. These can be used for time overcurrent pro-
tection in the same manner as ANSI, IAC, and IEC curves. The custom FlexCurveâ„¢ has setpoints for entering
times to trip at the following current levels: 1.03, 1.05, 1.1 to 6.0 in steps of 0.1, and 6.5 to 20.0 in steps of 0.5.
The relay then converts these points to a continuous curve by linear interpolation between data points.
9.5.2 SETTINGS
The following table shows all the pickup levels for which a trip time must be entered.
