4 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
The Gantry must be powered off.
• When handling circuit boards, take precautions against damage by ESD (electro-static discharge).
5 PREREQUISITES
None
6 PROCEDURE
6-1 Removing the Interface Board
1. Remove the Gantry CPU board from the Interface board according to Removing the Gantry CPU
Board on page 1131 in Job Card D/R A190 - Gantry CPU Board.
2. Disconnect all the cables and optical fibers from the Interface board and make a mental note where
they connect to on the Interface board. Ensure that you do not move them too much so it is easier to
re-connect them later on.
CAUTION
Disconnect with caution to avoid damage to the connectors and cables.
