1SUPPLIES
• Rotation Brake
• Two transportation screws (found either in your service kit or supplied with the new brake).
M5x50 ISO 4762 - total length 50 mm, length of thread 22 mm.

Standard Tool Box
3 REQUIRED EFFORT
Personnel: 1 Field Engineer
Time: 90 minutes
4 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
The Gantry must be powered off.
5 PREREQUISITES
• Switch off the Gantry power.
• Remove the top right and left column covers and
remove the front covers (refer to Job Card PHY A044
- Remove/Reinstall Gantry Covers on page 523).
• Turn the Gantry power on.
• Raise the arm to have good access to the Rotation
Brake (1) from the rear of the Gantry.
• Switch off the Gantry power.
• Loosen and remove the Gantry curtain (refer to Job
Card D/R A208 - Gantry Curtains on page 1193).
