4 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
The Gantry must be powered off.
• When handling circuit boards, take precautions against damage by ESD (electro-static discharge).
5 PREREQUISITES
None
6 PROCEDURE
6-1 Removal and Replacement of the Arm Distribution Board
1. Switch off the Senographe electrical power.
2. Remove the right column cover; refer to Job Card PHY A044 - Remove/Reinstall Gantry Covers on
page 523.
3. Disconnect all the cables from the Arm Distribution board and make a mental note where they con-
nect to on the Arm Distribution board. Ensure that you do not move them too much so it is easier to
re-connect them later on.
CAUTION
Disconnect with caution to avoid damage to the connectors and cables.
4. Remove the four screws (1) securing the Arm Distribution board (3 mm allen wrench), and remove
