100/001 HALT LIFT HARDWARE
ERROR
There is a relay defect at power-up. A relay (on the
board) is mounted in parallel with the H-bridge of the
motor. When this relay is closed it creates a short-cut
of the H-bridge. At power-up, the lift node injects
15 V to the H-Bridge, shuts the relay and checks that
there is 0 V. The lift node re-opens the relay and
checks that there is 15 V. If the lift node does not
perform this routine, this error is produced.
This error typically occurs in conjunction with a HALT
POSTION error (such as rotation, compression,
etc.), in which case the Lift Board is not faulty. Pro-
ceed as follows:
1. Reboot the system. Check the error logs to see
whether the 100/001 LIFT HARDWARE ERROR
occurs within the same time as another POSI-
TION ERROR (e.g. rotation or compression).
2. If a POSITION ERROR (e.g. rotation or com-
pression) does exist within the same time, ignore
the 100/001 LIFT HARDWARE ERROR. Do not
change the Lift Board, and take appropriate
action to resolve the POSITION ERROR.
3. If a POSITION ERROR (e.g. rotation or com-
pression) does not exist within the same time,
the 100/001 LIFT HARDWARE ERROR is valid.
You must change the Lift Board and then recali-
brate the Lift.

100/002 HALT LIFT SENSOR
DEFECT
Upper Optical Fork failure. At power-up, the lift node
shuts down the LED of the optical fork, and checks
that the photoresistor shuts down. Optical forks are
hardware limits hence they are never obturated.
Faulty FRU = Upper Optical Fork.
Change the FRU and reboot Gantry.
100/003 HALT LIFT SENSOR
DEFECT
Lower Optical Fork failure. At power-up, the lift node
shuts down the LED of the optical fork, and checks
that the photoresistor shuts down. Optical forks are
hardware limits hence they are never obturated.
Faulty FRU = Lower Optical Fork.
Change the FRU and reboot Gantry.
