Change Tag/MOD Index
Introduction
All important modifications are identified by a
Tag/ MOD number on a matrix label attached to
each Scanner inside the Top Cover (see Figure
1).
This section describes all the tags as well as
multinational applicability, classification codes,
and permanent or temporary modification
information.
Classification Codes
A Tag/ MOD number may be required to identify
differences between parts that cannot be
interchanged, or differences in diagnostic, the
repairs, installation, or adjustment procedures.
A Tag/ MOD number may also be required to
identify the presence of optional hardware,
firmware, or If mandatory modifications have
been installed. Each Tag/ MOD number is given
a classification code to identify the type of a
change the Tag/ MOD has made.
