During the initial installation or upgrade of the CDS 5 software, all U.S.
customers should choose “English” when the language choice drop down menu
appears. Failure to do so will result in the following consequences:
1. If the wrong language was chosen during the initial installation of the
Version 5 software, all CDS screens will appear in the language chosen.
Contact your i-STAT Support Representative if this has occurred.
2. If the wrong language was chosen during an upgrade of the CDS 5
software, the i-STAT installation instructions will appear in the language
chosen, but the CDS screens will remain in English.
