6. Affix the Paper Size Labels (for Cassette) according to the paper size.
Align the Paper Size Label with the edge of the Cassette Number Label, and affix it approx. 5 mm away from the Cassette
Number Label.
NOTE:
• Be sure to check with the user whether or not to affix the Paper Size Label, and then affix it at the recommended position.
• Keep the Paper Size Labels as they will be used when changing the paper size.

7. Register the type of paper loaded in the paper source.
1. Select [Settings/Registration] > [Preferences] > [Paper Settings] > [Paper Settings].
2. Select the pickup location where the paper is loaded, and then press [Set].
3. Select the paper type same as that of the loaded paper, and press [OK] > [OK].
NOTE:
If the corresponding paper type is not displayed on the simple settings screen, press [Detailed Settings] and make a selection on
the [Detailed Settings] screen.
If the type of loaded paper is not displayed on the detailed settings screen, you can register it.
Image Position Adjustment

• Image position adjustment is based on the assumption that the paper size is as shown below.
• A3 : 297 mm x 420 mm
• 11x17 : 279 mm x 432 mm
If the adjusted value is not within the following standard, the paper size may not be correct, so check the size of the paper
used.
• Leading Edge Margin : 4.0 +/- 0.8 mm
• Trailing Edge Margin : 4.0 +/- 1.6 mm
• Left Edge Margin : 2.5 +/- 1.0 mm
• Right Edge Margin : 2.5 +/- 1.6 mm
