Job Card PHY A044 - Remove/Reinstall Gantry Covers
8 COMPRESSION AND ARM COVERS
8-1 Compression Carriage Covers
1. Remove the Compression Paddle.
2. Set the arm to a convenient height.
3. Turn the Gantry power off.
4. Using a flat blade, remove the plastic caps.
5. Release the screws (1, 2) securing the Compression Car-
riage cover.
6. Remove the lower and upper parts of the Compression
Carriage cover (3).
Perform the procedure in reverse order for reinstallation.
Ensure that the Compression Carriage covers have been cor-
rectly fastened and all blanking disks are correctly installed.
8-2 Arm Covers and Handle
8-2-1 Arm Cover Removal
1. Remove the Compression Carriage covers - see section 8-1.
2. Release and remove the handle securing screw (1) (8 mm
allen wrench).
3. Remove the handle (2).
Note:
To remount the handle, when the handle is back in place,
you must push the foam near the ends (3) in place until it
exactly matches the arm covers.
