Entering street, house number and
junction
"Street" or the name of the last destination
street entered is displayed.
The input procedure is as for Entering
destination.
After entering the street, you can select a
house number, e.g. 194.
1. Turn until "1" is highlighted
2. Press to confirm the selection.
In the same way, select all the remaining
numerals making up the building or house
number.
Special characters:
Cancel selection
Enter blank space
Delete last letter
3. Select and confirm the number that is
displayed in the lower half of the control
display.
The nearest house number will be
entered if the house number is not
stored on the map CD. No opportunity to
enter numbers will be offered if no house
numbers for a street are stored on the map
CD.

"AS DEST." selects the address entered
as the destination

The address entered can be stored in
the address book with "AS ADDRESS".
Route guidance can be started straight
away.
A junction is entered in the same way as the
street.
Selecting the town or city
and street from an index
If you do not know the exact name of the
place and street, the index will help you
when entering the place-name or street
name. It will display all the places on the
map of a particular country, and all the
streets in a specified place.
The index appears as soon as you enter a
place or street. You can restrict the number
of names displayed by entering one or
more letters.
Selecting the destination
via map
If you know only the rough position of a
place or street, the system offers you maps
on which you can identify your destination
with cross-hairs, then transfer this informa-
tion to the route guidance system.
Select "With map" and confirm.
The control display shows a section of
map around the first destination in the
list, even if route guidance is switched off.

Turn the controller to alter the scale.
Push the controller in the desired direction
to narrow down the destination.
If the map is no longer altered, the name of
the street or place at the intersection of the
cross-hairs appears after a short while.
