Saving a text/SMS message before sending
Instead of sending the text message immediately to the
number indicated, you can simply save the text message
on your SIM card for future use. The text message can be
called up from the list at any stage and edited or sent.
Saving a text message:

If the softkey
BACK
appears instead of
SAVE,
the
memory for text messages is full. You can create
space in the memory by deleting old text messages, see
page 218.

The SMS menu is displayed.

A list of all saved text messages appears in the display.

Enter the number and confirm.
Reading a text/SMS message
If your phone is on standby, the softkey in the
handset's standby display indicates that you have received
one or more text messages.
The softkey is no longer displayed once you have read all
new text messages.
