The phone number can also be entered via the phone
board; the number is shown in the control display.
Always enter the entire phone number (dialling code
and subscriber number) even if you are in the local
area of the person you are calling.

Making international calls
The principle is as above, except that the international dial-
ling code needs to be entered before the phone number.
Instead of dialling 00, you can also press
+
once. To do this:
Press for longer.
The
+
symbol can also be entered via the phone board.
An international call is any call conducted from the
network of one country to the network of another
country. For instance, if you are in Austria and are logged
onto an Austrian network, a call made to Germany is an
international call. However, if you are in Austria but are still
sufficiently close to the border to be logged onto a German
network, it will be a national call.
