Rear lock
Audio and video sources that can be
listened to via the loudspeakers can be
operated from either control display.
To ensure that the audio and video sources
can only be operated from the front control
display, switch on the rear lock:
1. Select the menu "Settings" and confirm
2. Select "Code" and confirm
3. Select "Rear lock" and confirm.
With the headphones plugged in, all
functions can still be selected from
the rear apart from the audio/video source
that is switched on at the front control
display.

To switch off the rear lock:
Select "Rear lock" again and confirm.

The set calls up the audio source last
selected (radio, cassette, CD or MD).
Operation with ignition
switched off
When the ignition is switched off, the set is
likewise switched off.
Switch the set on again.
With the ignition switched off, the audio
functions remain available for approx.
20 minutes.
The set cannot be operated via the
buttons in the steering wheel when
the ignition is switched off.
To protect the battery, you should always
switch off the audio sources when leaving
the car.
