2.4.1 Chronological sequence
Reference point approach with incremental measuring systems can be divided into three
phases:
• Phase 1: Traversing to the reference cam
• Phase 2: Synchronization with the zero mark of the position measuring system (encoder
zero mark)
• Phase 3: Traversing to the reference point
