Measuring the alignment
Define the reference edge for the alignment according to the technical drawing.
Tap Measure in the main menu
Select Manual measuring in the function palette
The workspace is displayed, showing the axis positions
Select Alignment in the geometry palette
Position the first measuring point on the reference edge
Tap Enter in the Inspector
A new feature is displayed in the feature list
Distribute the measuring points along the entire
length of the edge. This minimizes the angular error.
Position the second measuring point on the reference edge
Tap Enter in the Inspector
Depending on the configuration, you can also acquire
additional measuring points for the feature. In this
way you increase the accuracy.
Tap Finish in the new feature
The alignment is displayed in the feature list
The measurement result preview is now displayed
