HYDRAULIC BRAKE
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
• Align the parking brake lever bracket locating pin
with the handlebar hole.
• Route the cables and wire harness properly (page 1-
25).
Check the parking brake lock operation (page 3-24).
DISASSEMBLY
Remove the lower holder cap [1].
Remove the spring pin [1] and release shaft [2].
Remove the E-clip [1], washer [2] and parking brake
lever [3].
TORQUE:
Parking brake adjuster bolt lock nut:
17 N·m (1.7 kgf·m, 13 lbf·ft)
Parking brake cable mounting nut:
10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7 lbf·ft)
