(5) Take a note of the displayed IP address and subnet mask.
(6) Set the following addresses. (Note)
(Example) IP address: 192.168.200.2
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
(Note) In the section "20.2.1 Confirming the IP Address for CNC", set an IP address in the range of
"192.168.200.0" to "192.168.200.255", but do not use "192.168.200.1".
Note that when other CNC and devices are connected on the same network, be careful not to duplicate
the address with other CNC and devices.
(7) Click [OK] and close all the windows.
20.3 Connecting the Control Unit and a Personal Computer
Connect a personal computer, which has GX Developer or GX Works2 installed, to the control unit.
(Note 1) It is recommended to use GX Developer Version 8.114U (SW8D5C-GPPW) and later.
(Note 2) It is recommended to use GX Works2 Version 1.570U and later.
(Note 3) Carry out the Ethernet communication setting (IP address and so on) on the personal computer before
connecting it to NC.
