7.10 Adding a background color to copies (“Background
Color” function)
This function allows you to copy a document using one of the 18 colors avail-
able as the color of the background (blank areas).

For samples of the background colors, refer to ““Background Color”
function” on page 7-19.
1 Position the document to be copied.
– For details on positioning the document, refer to “Feeding the doc-
ument” on page 2-8.
2 Touch [Application], and then touch [Edit Color].
– To cancel changes to the settings for all Application functions,
press the [Reset] key. All changes to the settings are canceled.
The Edit Color screen appears.
