11.9 Color Registration Adjust
Adjusting the color registration for yellow, magenta and cyan
The color registration can be adjusted if color shifts can be seen in the print
result.
Each color can be adjusted for plain paper, thick paper 1/1+, 2, 3 or thick
paper 4.
The procedure for adjusting the color registration is the same for yellow,
magenta and cyan.
The following procedure uses A3-size plain paper to adjust the color
registration for cyan.
0 The test pattern can be printed on A3 w, 11 × 17 w, A4 v or 8-1/2 × 11
v paper that can only be loaded into the bypass tray.
1 Display the Administrator Settings screen.
– For details on displaying the Administrator Settings screen, refer to
“Displaying the Administrator Settings screen” on page 11-56.
2 Touch [1 System Settings].
The System Settings screen appears.
3 Touch [7 Expert Adjustment].
The Expert Adjustment screen appears.
4 Touch [7 Color Registration Adjust].
The Color Registration Adjust screen appears.
5 Touch [3 Color Registration Adjust (Cyan)].
The Color Registration Adjust > Cyan screen appears.
