Stop functions?
"Emergency Off" and "Emergency Stop" are commands that minimize different risks in the
machine or plant.
Emergency Off
Risk of electric shock.
Emergency Stop
Risk of unexpected motion.

STO is not suitable for safely switching
off a voltage.
Select STO.
It is permissible that you switch off the
converter power supply as well. How‐
ever, switching off the voltage is not
required as a risk-reduction measure.
