7-7-3-4-8 CW(Continues Wave)
It verifies signal path from AFE to DRFM by generating test wave signal and recording it with IQ phase
recorder and displays each channels diagnostics result and the overall test result as PASSED/FAILED.
7-7-3-5 DPI
This diagnostic test performs the self-diagnosis of each electric component and interface in DPI board.
Table 7-4 below outlines Voluson™ P8 / Voluson™ P6 Diagnostics Tool described in the sub-sections.
7-7-3-5-1 Voltage DPI
It verifies Each Power Voltage Levels on DPI board and displays the current voltage levels and the test
result as PASSED/FAILED.
7-7-3-6 DPS
This diagnostic test performs the self-diagnosis of each electric component and interface in DPS board.

7-7-3-6-1 Voltage DPS
It verifies Each Power Voltage Levels on DPS board, and displays the current voltage levels and the
test result as PASSED/FAILED.
7-7-3-6-2 ADM Interface
It verifies the interface to ADM1062 chip on DPS board by reading /writing test data and displays the
test result as PASSED/FAILED.
7-7-3-6-3 HV Linearity
It verifies the linearity of HVA and HVB voltage by writing test voltage and reading back corresponding
voltage, and displays the written and read voltage in log window, and the test result as PASSED/
FAILED.
7-7-3-6-4 HV Stop
It verifies ADM operation when HV_Stop is asserted whether HVA/HVB outputs 0V, and displays the
current voltage changes and the test result as PASSED/FAILED.
