PTO Brake Disk and Brake Plate 1
1. Measure the PTO brake disk thickness with a vernier calipers.
2. Measure the brake plate thickness with a vernier calipers.
3. If the thickness is less than the allowable limit, replace it.

(3) HST
Pump Shaft
1. Pull out the pump shaft from the HST housing case.
2. Check the oil seal surface (1) the bearing surface (2) and the
bearing.
3. If the shaft is rough or grooved, replace it.
4. If the bearing is worn, replace it.

Motor Shaft
1. Pull out the motor shaft from the HST housing case.
2. Check the oil seal surface (1) the bearing surface (2) and the
bearing.
3. If the shaft is rough or grooved, replace it.
4. If the bearing is worn, replace it.

Cylinder Block Bore and Pistons
1. Lift all the pistons gently with the retainer plate (1).
2. Check the pistons for their free movement in the cylinder block
bores.
3. If the piston or the cylinder block bore is scored, replace cylinder
block assembly.
IMPORTANT
• Do not interchange pistons between pump and motor
cylinder block. Pistons and cylinder blocks are matched.

1.95 to 2.05 mm

0.071 in.
