of history event that is being reported,
nnn is the history log sequence num-
ber, time/date is the time and date
when the event was logged, and
modifier is an optional field that ex-
tends the meaning of the event type.
The NEXT and HOLD keys are used to
navigate through the log list. When the
history log list first displays, the oldest
history event shows in the display. Use
the NEXT key to select the next newest
event in the list and the HOLD key to
select the next oldest event in the list.
When either end of the history log list
is reached, the System displays the
following message:
End Of History List
Continuing to press either key wraps
the list to the oldest or newest event,
as appropriate.
To print the History Log, press PRINT
when making a choice from the
Event_Log Filter menu. The history
printout format is the same as all other
listing type reports.
To interrupt the listing operation at any
time, press CLEAR. Significant System
activities, such as alarms, troubles etc.,
automatically terminate listing. The
printout always indicates when the
listing has been prematurely terminated.
The System prints a history log in a
format similar to the following:
[Listing Date]
[Listing Conditions]
[Event Type][Modifier] [Event Locator]
[Time/Date][nnn] [Event Description]
In the previous sample, Listing Date
identifies the report type (in this case
the history log) and the date the report
was generated, Listing Condition
shows the filter and starting date for
this report, Event Type identifies the
type of history event that is being
reported, Modifier is an optional field
that extends the meaning of the event
type, Event Locator locates the
source or destination of the event as
either a module number, module-
device pair, or function name, Time/
Date is the time and date when the
event was logged, nnn is the history
log sequence number, and Event
Description is either the custom
message associated with a device, or
for non-devices, it is a descriptive
message.
Test: Pyro_Diags
Use Test Pyro_Diags to display a
series of statistics typically used by
Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. to
evaluate the operation of the System.
A special password is required for
access to this function.
Test: Pre_alarm
Use Test Pre_alarm to test pre-alarm
logic.
Select Pre_alarm. The System asks
you for a module number and device
number.
Type In Module & Device: -
Type the three-digit module number
and three-digit device number using
the numeric keypad and press ENTER.
