Speaker/strobe appliances are compat-
ible for the speaker element only. For
the strobe element to work, the
appliance must also be wired to a ZC
series card, a CSM-4, or an ICP-B6.
Electrical connections:
All wiring must be in accordance with
Article 760 of NEC or the local building
codes.
Use unshielded twisted pair for high
level amplifier connections. Use
shielded twisted pair for terminals 1
and 2 of the backup amplifier. Connect
shield to terminal 2. Use single-con-
ductor wire for other connections.
