Measure or Source Current
4.1.2 DPI620G-IS Measure or Source Current (CH1)
Figure 4-2
shows CH1 set to measure or source a current with external loop power.

1. Set the applicable channel options: CH1, Measure (or Source), Current, mA.
2. Complete the electrical connections as shown and continue with the measure or source
operation.
3. Source only (Automation): set the applicable output value.
4.1.3 DPI620G-IS Source Current, Internal 15V Loop Power, CH2

shows CH2 set up to source current (0 to 24mA) with an internal loop power (15V).
An internal resistor (10 ohms) and series current source MOSFET are between the ‘mA+/V’ and
‘m
A-/COM’ terminals. The current limit of the Loop power is 40mA.

1. Set the applicable channel options: CH2, Source, Current (15V), mA.
2. Complete the electrical connections as shown and continue with the source operation.
3. Source only (Automation): set the applicable output value.
