Complete Phase 3 Installation

Phase 3 setup tasks

This section lists the required and optional Phase 3 setup tasks to be performed on the

VG2/VG8 system. The optional tasks you perform will vary depending on the

configuration and the options purchased by the customer.

Instructions for each of these tasks are presented in the chapters and appendices that

follow.

1. Add non-boot arrays (optional).

2. Configure storage.

3. Prepare for customer data by creating file systems, shares, exports, netgroups,

and users.

4. Run the setup wizard to configure Control Station, Data Movers, and network

services and interfaces and to create file systems and CIFS servers, and share file

systems.
