7. On the FCC Boot Sub-Menu, type 3 and press Enter to select the port BE0 FCC
Boot settings.
Note: BE0 is labeled 0 on the I/O module.
8. On the BE0 FCC Boot Menu, type 4 and press Enter to set the port speed.
9. When prompted to enter a speed, type 1 and press Enter to select 1 Gb/s.
10. Type 0 and press Enter as needed to exit back to the FCC Boot Sub-Menu.
11. Repeat step 7 through step 10 to set the speed of the BE1 (port 1), AUX 0 (port 2),
and AUX 1 (port 3) ports to 1 Gb/s.
12. After you have set the speed of all four blade ports, exit back to the top
Diagnostic Menu and select option 1 to reset the controller.
13. Repeat all of the above steps to set the port speed on the other blades. You can
either power the blade enclosure off and back on, or pull out and insert a blade to
restart its boot sequence.
Verify Fibre Channel port link lights
Check the link lights on all of the Fibre Channel ports used for the VNX gateway
system. This includes:
â—† Blade ports
â—† Fibre Channel switch ports
â—† Array ports (SPs or channel directors)
