Connect Cables for a Fabric-connected VG2

Step 3: Serial cables
Serial cables connect the Control Station to the CallHome modem.
To connect the serial cables:
1. Refer to Figure 38 and connect the modem serial cable (labeled CS telephone icon)
from the CS 0 serial port to the first external modem.
2. Then connect the modem to an analog telephone line supplied by the customer.
The label clip on the modem serial cable is shown in Figure 37.

3. For dual Control Station systems, connect the modem serial cable (labeled CS
telephone icon) from the CS 1 serial port to the second external modem. Then,
connect the modem to an analog telephone line supplied by the customer.
