Alarms
System alarm
When the ECDIS generates an alarm the warning will appear in red at the lower left-hand corner of the display
replacing UTC time.
Steering alarm
When a failure of an integrated system generates an alarm this will appear in red at the centre of the lower part of the
display replacing local time
Acknowledge alarm
Both these alarm will generate an audio alarm which can be accepted by pressing ALARM ACK in the Control
Panel
System Failure
This lamp is lit and an audible alarm is generated in case of internal failure that has serious effects for operation.
