Signal Level Meter
Source Activation & Deactivation
Once you selected the desired modulation
type and have adjusted the source signal
settings, the source can be activated by
selecting the On softkey as shown in the
image to the right.
When the source is On, select the Off softkey
at any time to deactivate the source.
CW Source Signal On QAM Source Signal On
Before activation of the source generator, ensure that the
meter is not connected to an output of the active plant.
Otherwise, the source signal could disrupt trafc in the
upstream return band.
