Select the SUM Source
The signal generator can accept internal or external sources for the
SUM modulation.
Panel Operation
1. Press the MOD key.

2. Press F5 (SUM).


3. Press F1 (Source).


4. Press F1 (INT) or F5 (EXT) to
select the source.



External Source
Use the MOD INPUT terminal
on the rear panel when using an
external source.

Note
If an external modulation source is selected, the
SUM depth is controlled by the ± 5V from the
MOD INPUT terminal on the rear panel. For
example, if the SUM depth is set to 0%, then the
maximum depth (100% of the carrier ) will be at
+5V, and the minimum depth (0% of the carrier)
will be at -5V.
