When the internal trigger source is chosen, the burst
is output continuously at a rate defined by the burst
period setting. The interval between bursts is defined
by the burst period.
When the external trigger is selected the function
generator will receive a trigger signal (TTL) from the
Trigger INPUT terminal on the rear panel. Each time
the trigger is received, a burst is output (with the
defined number of cycles). If a trigger signal is
received during a burst, it is ignored.
When using the manual or external trigger only the
burst phase and burst cycle/count are applicable, the
burst period is not used.
A time delay can be inserted after each trigger, before
the start of a burst.
