7.5 Evaluation of the service files
The compressed service files cannot be viewed on the control.
8 Read out the ZIP file (e.g. service4CF4D383.zip) to an external data medium.
8 Decompress the ZIP file.
The compressed service file contains a large number of files. Some examples:
Not all service files can be evaluated by the service engineer himself. They serve primarily to
provide the machine manufacturer or a HEIDENHAIN service agency with comprehensive information
on an error that occurred on a machine.
Upon agreement, the ZIP file can be sent to the OEM or to HEIDENHAIN.
