Xerox Production Stacker (XPS)
The Xerox Production Stacker (XPS) with Document Finishing Architecture (DFA) Finishing is a finishing
option available for the Model IV Nuvera.
This finishing device provides output trays that eject and rise to near waist height of the user. If the
height selected is not appropriate, this height can be adjusted. The sheet capacity for these output trays
is increased from other stackers. The XPS stacks 5,700 (2 stacks of 2,850). The stacker can be released
to unload while the system is still running and printing, which allows for constant production. This is also
true when using a single stacker.

Basic Finishing Module (BFM/BFM Plus)
Specifications
The BFM is a finisher that provides high capacity collecting, stacking and stapling. It also includes a top
tray for collecting or purging sheets.
Note
For 157/314 systems with one of the BFM models, a Sheet Retime Module is required to be installed
before that single BFM to enable stapling and speed rate. Paper sizes less than 6.9 inches (175mm) in
the process direction are not supported in this configuration. Tab jobs and paper sizes between 8.2 and
7.0 inches will run at less than 157 ppm.
The Xerox Nuvera System offers the following BFM models:
• The BFM is a finisher that provides high capacity collating, stacking and stapling. It also includes a
top tray for collecting or purging sheets.
• The BFM Plus is comprised of the Bypass BFM and the Interface Module. The BFM Plus module
provides the same capabilities as the BFM. However, it does not have a top tray and does include a
bypass paper path that allows the BFM Plus to pass pages through an Interface Module (IM) to
another BFM or through an Interface Module and Finishing Transport Module to other DFA-compliant
finishers.
