Description
Use this input to start and stop the gen-set in AUTO mode.
Note: If the binary input Remote Start/Stop is active and engine is running and mains failure occurs, the
MCB breaker opens, after Transfer Delay (page 201) the GCB breaker is closed. Once the mains is OK,
the Mains Return Delay (page 200) elapses and the GCB breaker is opened. Then after Transfer Delay
(page 201) is MCB breaker closed. Gen-set remains running as long as binary input Rem Start/Stop is
active. For more details see timing diagram below.

Description
When input is closed, the controller automatically transfers load from the mains to the gen-set. Load is
automatically transferred back to the mains when any gen-set shut down protection activates.
