1.Openthemenu.
2.Select Racestartline.
3.Selecteither
PingPortendor PingStbd(Starboard)end.
4.Repeatforthealternateend.
Important:
PingingtheR aceStartLineendswilluseyourGPSlocation(fromaninternalorexternalGPS
receiver).Whenpingingtheendpoints,itisimportanttocompensateforthedistancebetween
yourvessel’sbowandtheGPSlocation.
T oincreasetheaccuracyofstartlineplacement:
1.Approachanendpointfromthesamedirectionyouwillbetravelingwhenstartingtherace.
2.Alignyourvesselsoitisperpendiculartotheendpoint.
3.Whenthebowofyourvesselreachestheendpoint,pingthelocation.
4.Repeatforthealternateend,ensuringyourvesselremainsperpendiculartotheline.
