To add a static entry to the Neighbor Binding table, use the ipv6 neighbor binding
static command in Global Configuration mode. To remove the static entry, use the
no form of this command.
Syntax
ipv6 neighbor binding static ipv6
ipv6-address
vlan
vlan-id
interface
interface-id
mac
mac-address
no ipv6 neighbor binding static ipv6
ipv6-address
vlan
vlan-id
Parameters
• ipv6
ipv6-address
—IPv6 address of the static entry.
• vlan
vlan-id
—ID of the specified VLAN.
• interface
interface-id
—Adds static entries to the specified port.
• mac
mac-address
—MAC address of the static entry.
Default Configuration
No static entry.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode
