Event Explanation Remedy
The ACTUAL values are not
being stored retentively.
Retention has not been switched on. Switch on retention in the
SYSTEM menu.
The RETENTION… menu is
not displayed in the SYSTEM
menu.
easyE4 device is in RUN operating mode. Select STOP mode
The retentive data is cleared
when there is a mode change
from RUN to STOP.
This behavior only occurs when using the
PW02 (pulse width modulation) function
block in easyE4.
Avoid using the PW02 function
block.
The SYSTEM menu is not dis-
played.
The device model does not feature this menu. Change easyE4 device if you need
retention
When the device is switched
on, the easyE4 switches to
STOP mode
