3.6.7 H801SCUL Board Description
The H801SCUL board is a super control unit board. It mainly controls the system and
processes broadband services. The H801SCUL board communicates with the service boards
through the GE channel or the 10GE channel to configure, manage, and control the device. It
also implements the simple route protocol functions. The H801SCUL board processes the
alarms through the inband NMS. Based on the upper-layer protocol between the H801SCUL
board and the service boards, the software of the H801SCUL separates the management
information such as alarms from the information reported by the service boards. Then, the
H801SCUL board identifies and processes the information.
