Access authorization
Access to functions, programs and data is useroriented and controlled via 8 hierarchical protection levels. These
are subdivided into:
• Password levels for Siemens, machine manufacturer and end user
• Keyswitch positions for end user
Multi-level security concept
A multi-level security concept to regulate access rights is available in the form of password levels and keyswitch
settings.
