Flex Control (V7M)
The flex control manipulates the movement of the distal tip.
Anterior/Posterior Deflection
For anterior deflection (anteflexion) of the distal tip, rotate the flex control clockwise. Clockwise
rotation moves the distal tip anteriorly.
For posterior deflection (retroflexion) of the distal tip, rotate the anterior/posterior flex control
counterclockwise. Counterclockwise rotation moves the tip posteriorly.

1 Array rotation control (90° array rotation
angle position indicator)
2 Flex control neutral position indicator
3 Flex control lock in the unlocked position
4 V7M handle near the connector cable
1 Flex control
2 Rotate the flex control counterclockwise to move the distal
tip down
3 Rotate the flex control clockwise to move the distal tip up
Neutral Position (V7M)
To place the distal tip in the neutral position:
1. Unlock the friction brake.
2. Rotate the flex control until the neutral position indicator is aligned with the handle portion
that is near the connector cable.
