C - 6 Instructions for Use
UPDATE
When a function is assigned to double-clicking the UPDATE key, the on-screen labels display
the available function in parentheses.
Active Function
Description
Dual imaging Selects the active image.
Doppler
In a full-screen format, displays either the real-time 2D image or the real-time Doppler
spectrum. Double-click UPDATE to display either the Doppler spectrum in a full-screen format
or the 2D image and Doppler spectrum in a split-screen format.
M-mode
In a full-screen format, displays either the real-time 2D image or the real-time M-mode sweep.
Double-click UPDATE to display either the M-mode sweep in a full-screen format or the
2D image and M-mode sweep in a split-screen format.
SieScape or
3D imaging
Starts, pauses, or continues the acquisition process.
Elasticity Imaging Displays either a dual-screen format or a full-screen format.
Virtual Touch
Imaging
Starts the acquisition process. Prior to acquisition, double-click UPDATE to display either a
dual-screen format or a full-screen format.
Virtual Touch
Quantification
Starts the acquisition process.
Displays the shear velocity measurement in the measured results.
Virtual Touch IQ
Starts the acquisition process. Prior to acquisition, double-click UPDATE to display either a
dual-screen format or a full-screen format.
4D
Displays either the volume in a full-screen format or the volume and multiplanar renderings
(MPRs) in the previously selected screen format.
Review Double-click
UPDATE
to display either the selected screen format or a full-screen format.
Review
When a Stress Echo image is selected, double-click UPDATE to load the Stress Echo exam to
the Stress Echo Review screen.
Stress Echo
Redisplays the stress echo imaging screen after stopping acquisition to review acquired loops.
Contrast agent
imaging
Reserved for future use.
