Control Panel

The control panel includes a touch screen, push controls, press controls, press or rotate
controls, and a retractable keyboard. A trackball provides access to objects on the image
screen.
When the ultrasound system is in use, most controls on the control panel and touch screen are
supported by context-sensitive lighting. Exceptions are noted in this chapter.
Blue The control or selection is in use (active).
White The control or selection is available for use, but inactive.
No illumination
(dimmed)
The control is not available during the active function.
Lighting and Audio
Use the selections on the touch screen to adjust the backlighting for the control panel, the touch
screen, and the retractable keyboard. You can also activate or deactivate the microphone.
