Application-specific Measurements
The ACUSON S1000 ultrasound system includes only the application-specific measurements
purchased for your system.
The ACUSON S2000 ultrasound system includes all application-specific measurements.
The ACUSON S3000 ultrasound system includes all application-specific measurements.
The following applications (exam types) include general measurements and exam-specific
measurement labels, body markers, annotations, and an editable report:
Abdomen, Adult Echo, Breast, Cerebrovascular, Digital, Fetal Echo, Gynecology,
Musculoskeletal, Neonatal Echo, Neonatal Head, OB, Pediatric Abdomen, Pediatric Echo,
Pediatric Hip, Pelvis, Penile, Prostate, PV-Arterial, PV-Venous, Renal, Testicle, Thyroid,
Transesophageal, and Transcranial.
Application-Specific Measurements and Calculations
Abdomen  Ratio of the peak systolic velocity (PSV) of the renal artery to the PSV of the aorta
 Ratio of the interquartile range to the median calculation for all measurements associated
with the assigned label
 The patient report includes a liver evaluation section that displays shear wave velocity and
elasticity measurements from the Virtual Touch quantification function
Breast
 The patient report includes shear wave velocity and elasticity measurements from Virtual
Touch IQ
Cerebrovascular
 The patient report includes selections for the Internal Carotid Artery/Common Carotid Artery
(ICA/CCA) ratio
Fetal Echo  Cardiothoracic Area Ratio: Fetal Heart Area/Fetal Thoracic Cross-Sectional Area
– Fetal Echo measurement ratios for 2D-mode LV percentage of fractional shortening and
for Doppler mitral valve E/A and Tei Index
